We are seeking dynamic and motivated Sales Development Representative (Fresher) to join our growing team. As a Sales Development Representative at StrongBox IT, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and engaging potential clients who can benefit from our cybersecurity services. Your primary focus will be on initiating meaningful conversations, nurturing relationships, and ultimately driving qualified leads to our sales pipeline.
- Research and identify potential clients within the target market through various online sources, industry events, and networking platforms.
- Initiate contact with decision-makers, IT managers, and other relevant personnel to introduce StrongBox IT’s cybersecurity services.
- Communicate the value proposition of our services and tailor your approach to address the specific needs and pain points of each potential client.
- Develop and maintain a database of potential leads, including accurate and up-to-date contact information, interactions, and progress.
- Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to align lead generation strategies with overall business goals.
- Implement effective outreach strategies via email campaigns, cold calling, social media engagement, and other relevant channels.
- Qualify leads based on established criteria and ensure a smooth handover to the sales team for further engagement.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging threats, and competitors to provide relevant insights during client interactions.
- Meet and exceed weekly and monthly lead generation targets while maintaining high-quality interactions.
- Provide regular reports and updates on lead generation activities, including insights on successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
- Proven Internship or Work experience 0 to 1 year in IT Sales or Lead Generation, preferably in the Information technology or Cybersecurity industry.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, services, and market trends is a definite plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to articulate technical information to a non-technical audience.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools for lead tracking and management is a definite plus
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- A proactive and persistent approach to lead generation, with a focus on building lasting client relationships.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, technology, or a related field is preferred.
